i really hate when people act like they're just sooooooooo fashion forward

i just looked at some tumblr and this chick can't be serious that she actually likes some of the clothes that she's posted

like just because it has a name on it, it's cute??

no.

don't get me wrong, i like my share of designer things and i want a few things such as a Louie Damier Speedy and a pair of black sling back peep toe Louboutins

but not because it's Louie and Loubi but because they're well made items and i like the design of both, NOT the designer's name.

(even tho they're extremely noticeable pieces)

i don't act like i know fashion and what's the latest trend

i only know what i like

i tried to mature my shopping by avoiding a&f, h&m, and Forever 21 but i can't fake the fact that they be having stuff that i like

i can't keep up with the Jones's and i had to stop acting like that

thinking i needed designer jeans when abercrombie jeans are my favorite

or not looking thru Forever because some people call it basic

if you asked me, it's about HOW you wear WHAT

not how much it costs

i have my share of foolish clothes and some that can be dressed up but may have cost me under $20, you'd never know from looking at me and i take pride in that

whether it's from the thrift store or Bloomingdale's, if i like it, i buy it.. end of discussion
