ugh! i couldn't be more ecstatic =D after what seemed like a hiatus (to me) after the whole Taylor Swift incident at last year's VMA's, Kanye was kinda low.. his blog was only posting other artists, nudity, and fashion.. now, with the drop of his single Power back in May, he's been doin a little bit more promoting, i believe, for his new album... he's currently been featured on Rick Ross' new CD and has had rumored leaked audio from his album.. not to mention the epic video of him and his ex =) in the studio producing =D !!

he also has recently joined the darkside and got a twitter account !!!!!

he alsooooooo posted a video of him releasing some new material.. a little do-diddy he threw together that may or may not be on the album but i loved it! old Kanye is back and i'm soooooo ready for it !! it's been long overdue

i was just having a convo in the car with @boooogiebetch yesterday about our favorite Kanye albums (this may have been a bit paraphrased lol so sorry booooger)

me: my favorite kanye album out of all four is --

boooogie: i know i know.. Late Registration

me: -__- well yeah !! he went INNNN on that album!! and it had the best videos

boooogie: sooo because it had great videos it was better right? (yes) no! College Dropout was by far his best album.. that ENTIRE cd was HITS .. it goes; College Dropout, Late Registration, Graduation, 808's. he got worse as the cd's came out. he has to out-d0 himself with this new album

the convo, of course, went off on a funny little tangent about different songs and lyrics that he may be able to rap about such as boat shoes and fast cars.. lol it was MUCH funnier than i can recollect verbatum.. anywho..

i believe that we were proven wrong by this little verse he revealed at Facebook.. he still has issues and i'm impressed that he didn't necessarily go the "gold, money, hoes" route that many of his predecessors go with their 5th albums.

i think that this album is going to be one of my favorites (seeing as i haven't had a favorite since LR and i'm currently still bumping CD) .. he has plenty to talk about; Taylor Swift, not being popular ;] (some of my hardcore Yeezy fans will get it) , break ups, everybody hating him, and saying fuck the world (which i said he would do, and he is)

i'm no hip hop analyst but i do have a Passion for Kanye West.. i love his music and i always have so i WILL be purchasing Good Ass Job (or whatever he calls it cause he tweeted that there is a name change in the works)

after bullshittin him for the last 2 months, i finallyyyy decided to give his music a listen and i'm IMPRESSED !! he is a fellow William Penn Colonial that i believe used to secretly fantasize about me every Cherry and Black Friday when i was obligated to wear my cheer uniform lol

i'm proud of him and this single.. it's very well produced and the lyrics aren't bad at all.. theyre actually quite catchy.. i could hear this song getting some serious radio time once released

i'm only shocked because most people these days 'think' that they're "rappers" so whenever i'm told to listen to something i completely ignore it and he was no exception lol sorry nugget O:]

he's always tweeting about him being in the studio and how proud he is of his music.. someone this dedicated is what makin music is about.. but give him a listen here and lemme know what u think

not that i do a bunch of internet surfing and i certainly don't know any fashion blogs to look at but i accidentally came across this while i was bored, clicking around Highsnobette.

i previously did a post about how i didn't like fashion hype and i hate how people act like ugly things and forceful fashion ads are just sooooooo amazing.

i'm not 100% sure who the fashion bloggers are that they were poking fun at or if it was ads or whatever.. =/ idk but it's funny so fuck it.

now, i'm no model but modeling doesn't exactly look like it's rocket science. every high fashion magazine is filled with frail, very pale, very hungry and lost looking females and males all with the same dazed face like they don't care that they're wearing a $5476.94 outfit.

it just bugs me =/

however, whoever these guys are that did these photo shoots hit the nail on the nose

they really pointed out how dumb these ads are and did a great job at it

NEW MUSIC !!

okayy.. well, not really "new" persay, but new to me!

as always, i'm getting put on to new music and interesting things to occupy my life with by my better counterpart

the first time we went to Liv, he saw a poster that said J*Davey would be performing there in the next few weeks

we forgot and were stuck at school the DAY of the show

oh? you thought we missed it?!! pleeeeease,

yall must not know how Murda and Booooger gets down

i'll save all 7.5 of you that read this the blah blah blahs and humdeedum about getting there and whatnot but we got there at like PERFECT timing, the Band went on within 5 minutes of our arrival

when i asked what type of music this would be (cause i thought it was like neo-soul, erykah badu-esque) i was told that it was, "pop, techno, loud, greatness"

mannnn, HE DIDN'T LIE !!

i was standing in the venue something like a zombie just taking in all of the tunes not really knowing what i should do cause it was for sure nothing like i'd ever heard before

and i liked it, i may not have looked like it, but i genuinely enjoyed the music

it was like pop, funky, eclectic, gamma, loud bass, eargasmic music that touched my soul

it was like, girly without being overly Beyonce-esque and gay without making me wanna fist pump

it made me feel like a free-spirit

i did, however, feel like if i woulda had a p-funk or 5 i may have been zoned out like the rest of the crowd in arm flailing, hip gyrating, neck jerking bliss

but i had a test the next am.. all DUMB

but listen, their music is innovative, original, and fun

they definitely have made themselves a fan outta me :]

unfortunately, no pictures *cue audience 'awwwww'*

i don't have a good enough camera and my blackberry is some shit
