NEW MUSIC !!

okayy.. well, not really "new" persay, but new to me!

shit

as always, i'm getting put on to new music and interesting things to occupy my life with by my better counterpart

the first time we went to Liv, he saw a poster that said J*Davey would be performing there in the next few weeks

we forgot and were stuck at school the DAY of the show

oh? you thought we missed it?!! pleeeeease,

yall must not know how Murda and Booooger gets down

i'll save all 7.5 of you that read this the blah blah blahs and humdeedum about getting there and whatnot but we got there at like PERFECT timing, the Band went on within 5 minutes of our arrival

when i asked what type of music this would be (cause i thought it was like neo-soul, erykah badu-esque) i was told that it was, "pop, techno, loud, greatness"

mannnn, HE DIDN'T LIE !!

i was standing in the venue something like a zombie just taking in all of the tunes not really knowing what i should do cause it was for sure nothing like i'd ever heard before

and i liked it, i may not have looked like it, but i genuinely enjoyed the music

it was like pop, funky, eclectic, gamma, loud bass, eargasmic music that touched my soul

it was like, girly without being overly Beyonce-esque and gay without making me wanna fist pump

it made me feel like a free-spirit

i did, however, feel like if i woulda had a p-funk or 5 i may have been zoned out like the rest of the crowd in arm flailing, hip gyrating, neck jerking bliss

but i had a test the next am.. all DUMB

but listen, their music is innovative, original, and fun

they definitely have made themselves a fan outta me :]

unfortunately, no pictures *cue audience 'awwwww'*

i don't have a good enough camera and my blackberry is some shit
