Jealousy = obsession
Jealousy = caring
Jealousy = flattery
Jealousy = love
Jealousy = abuse
The second one denounces jealousy as the inevitable aspect of a relationship that it is, they give up on the relationship. However, jealousy can also be the demise of a relationship. One can be jealous without being abusive verbally or physically.
Jealousy gives reaction; it shows that the person is not one sided in the relationship.. It shows that they don't want to lose you. A negative reaction would be constant arguments or abusive actions which show that that person is toxic in your life anyway whether you are the victim or the abuser. No one should bring out such rage in you.
Jealousy = flattery. It may truly be the sincerest form of flattery. To know that someone feels threatened by the mere thought of losing you is breathtaking.
Jealousy = love when you fear for losing them because they're either a) not showing you jealousy back or b) exhibiting behavior that would lend one to jealous tendencies.
Jealousy is healthy in the sense that it pushes you to get to a point that you're no longer jealous; to a point where those you were once envious of are now in your shoes.
My jealousy is out of pure Love. Maybe I'm jealous because he doesn't get jealous or because he doesn't have to or choose to be as inquisitive as I. Who knows, but any relationship worth having is going to have some level of jealousy. Regardless.

i sat in bed last night and typed this. the words just seemed to flow right out of my head like it had been lingering on my chest for some time. and it ultimately made me realize this, I AM A JEALOUS PERSON. and i am okay with that.
a lot of men equate jealousy with femininity and then make it out to be a horrible aspect that they do not look for in a mate, YET, how would the pseudo masculine male that consumes our planet deal with a female that merely wants him but does not need him.
THEY LOSE IT !! that's what happens.
ladies, try using the gentleman/men in your life as toys. you won't be able to stop your phone from ringing or the texts from incoming. the thing is, MEN HATE TO BE IGNORED, they love to be needed and they love to be able to tell us "chill baby, fall back. you on my neck baby girl" thus causing them to deem us needy, THUS causing us to be jealous because now we feel as though we "need" him.
it's all politics, and it's a shame.
I dont agree. I feel like jealousy isnt needed at all times in a relationship... im not jealous in the least bit and i like it that way because i dont want my spouse to be jealous either. We communicate and TRUST eachother so we dont have to worry about things like jealous behavior. Not saying its all bad cause if you feel like your girl/man dont care thats a horrible feeling, BUT if you know you both care for eachother and TRUST eachother there is no reason to be jealous or worry bout the next girl/man that you think is flirting or pushing up on your man/woman.
ReplyDeleteJust my point of view on the subject.
TRUST is KEY in any and ever relationship.
Jealousy is not a key factor in relationships in my eyes.
caring is and can be confused with jealousy.
i'm not saying to be a jealous wreck (like i can be guilty of) but some sort of worry about loss is necessary
